Overview

Vaughan Automotive is seeking a Service Business Development Center (BDC) Coordinator to join our high-performing service team. In this remote position, you will be the first point of contact for our Toyota guests, delivering an Exceptional Customer Experience™ through phone, text, and chat interactions. You’ll play a vital role in scheduling service and maintenance appointments, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and brand alignment in every interaction.


This role offers:

  • Hourly Rate: Starting at $16/hour with our top performers earning $33/hr
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, plus alternating Saturdays (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Bonus Potential: Up to $3,000 monthly
  • Location Requirements: Candidates in the Hill Country/San Antonio area are preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer guest calls, texts, and chats promptly and professionally, following approved call guides and scripts.
  • Schedule service appointments with accuracy, confirming all details (date, time, location, and transportation options).
  • Document all interactions thoroughly in CRM/DMS systems.
  • Protect guest privacy by handling all personal and payment information securely and only through approved systems.
  • Achieve and maintain performance standards, including:
  • Average Handle Time: under 3 minutes
  • Appointment Show Rate: 88% or higher
  • Quality Assurance Score: 90% or higher
  • Use approved tools and resources (BDC Assistant, DMS, TIS, CRM) to provide quick and accurate information.
  • Escalate technical, warranty, or safety-related questions to Service Advisors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must reside in Boerne, TX, San Antonio, TX, OR the Immediate Surrounding Area (remote position).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • 1+ year of customer service, call center, or automotive experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment (200+ calls/day across the team).
  • Proficiency with computers and CRM/DMS systems (training provided).
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional home workspace.
