The Enrolment officer will oversee the enrolment processes and activities across all Acorn Training skills contracts, including adult education, apprenticeships and bootcamps. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless enrolment experience for prospective learners, from initial engagement through to course admission. The Enrolment officer will be responsible for meeting enrolment targets, enhancing the learner onboarding experience, and implementing effective enrolment strategies.
Key Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators
- Oversee the end-to-end enrolment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all prospective learners.
- Develop and implement robust enrolment policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, across all contracts we deliver.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies to attract and enrol learners in line with organisational goals.
- Organise and participate in enrolment events, open days, and fairs.
- Lead, train, and manage the enrolment team, setting clear monthly performance goals and providing regular feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrolment records and databases.
- Analyse enrolment data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present weekly reports on enrolment statistics, KPIs, and recruitment activities.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction throughout the enrolment process.
- Handle escalated enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Achievement of enrolment targets and objectives per contract.
- Increase in the number of qualified applications processed.
- Conversion rate of referrals to enrolments.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Level 3 Diploma in business administration, customer service or marketing and communications. (essential)
- Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification (or equivalent experience) GCSE (or equivalent L2) in English Language and Mathematics (essential)
- Level 2 IT Qualification (essential)
- Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification (desirable)
- Full driving licence with access to a vehicle with business use insurance (desirable)
Experience
- Proven experience in enrolment management or learner recruitment, preferably within the education or training sector. (essential)
- Experience in managing and leading a team. (essential)
- Experience of working with a wide range of individuals, managing different needs and actively promoting a service or product. (essential)
- Experience working in a targeted environment. (essential)
- Experience of providing excellent customer service. (essential)
- Experience with CRM systems and data analysis. (desirable)
- Strong understanding of the enrolment processes and best practices. (essential)
- Knowledge of the adult education system, including different levels of education and qualifications. (essential)
