Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to support business goals into actionable HR strategies by creating policies, procedures, and processes.  This position will partner with business leaders to implement an efficient and flexible structure that maximizes human capital, fosters engagement, and maintains compliance.

 Essential Functions

  • Create and implement an efficient and effective HR strategic plan and structure, designing and executing programs and policies that meet the Company’s needs. 
  • Manage day-to-day human resource functions in partnership with business leaders. 
  • Promote a positive work environment, driving initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
  • Administrator of compensation packages, including market research on compensation trends that ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent. 
  • Partner with business unit leaders and department managers to optimize recruiting and retention efforts, onboarding of new hires, develop training programs and improve outcomes. 
  • Design and manage performance evaluation systems to assess employee productivity. 
  • Administer ADP HRIS functionality and develop/maintain HR metrics for corporate dashboards. 
  • Manage benefits programs and relationships with brokerage providers. 
  • Processing of payroll and oversight of 401K compliance. 
  • Develop succession planning processes. 
  • Administer safety, workers compensation, leave management, OSHA reporting & compliance. 
  • Oversee HR budget to retain cost measures in alignment with business objectives. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to minimize legal risk and exposure.  

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable related fields of Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or Sociology.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as Human Resource leader. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS databases.
  • Excellent time management skills.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR or SPHR certifications.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

 Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Manual dexterity required during tasks or typing.
  • Frequent talking and listening.
