Drive new business development of specialty ingredients for animal nutrition portfolio and expand its customer base.
•Drive Growth in Animal Nutrition Portfolio:
Develop and expand the feed ingredient portfolio across segments such as poultry, dairy, aqua, and companion animals.
•Engage with Technical Teams & Principals:
Collaborate with technical experts from global principals to gain in-depth understanding of feed ingredients, their functionalities, and species-specific applications.
•Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with regulatory, procurement, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and product launches.
•Market Insights & Strategy Development:
Track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to support strategic decision-making and share insights with the team.
•Product Promotion & Customer Engagement:
Promote the technical benefits of feed ingredients through customer presentations, seminars, webinars, and digital campaigns.
•Support Sales & Project Development:
Partner with sales and product management teams to identify new business opportunities, develop customer projects, and expand market reach.
•Technical Support & Query Resolution:
Address customer technical queries independently or in collaboration with global technical teams and suppliers.
•Brand Visibility & Outreach:
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer innovation days to showcase new solutions and applications.
•Principal Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with principals for customer meetings, business reviews, and periodic reporting.
•Customer Base Expansion:
Strengthen relationships with existing customers and actively develop new accounts across the assigned region.
•Customer Visits & Support:
Conduct regular visits to customers and prospects to understand needs, identify opportunities, and provide technical-commercial support.
•Ability to drive aggressive growth through business development for the business unit.
•Extensive experience in developing animal nutrition related applications.
•Dynamic self-starter & team player with sound verbal/ written communication skills and a customer centric mindset.
•Having experience of commercial evaluation of projects, developing product costing.
•Possess the ability to interface effectively with commercial and technical contacts from a range of major international companies.
•Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to prioritize accordingly.
•Ambitious, self-motivated, results driven and well-organized individual seeking a long-term association with the organization.

•Internal: Customer Service Representative, Warehouse Team, Sampling Team, Sales Team, Accounts Receivable team

•Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)
•Candidates with a Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) or even a Doctorate in Veterinary Science (Ph.D.) will be an added advantage
•Working knowledge of sales related CRM tools
•Conversant with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•5+ years of relevant business development or sales experience into animal feed ingredients
