About the Role:

This role is central to Frontiers’ multi-phase initiative to redesign and automate the company’s global Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. As the Product Manager, you will drive the strategic design, execution, and continuous evolution of future-state finance operations, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable, compliant, and efficient technological solutions. You will be instrumental in not only defining but also implementing and optimizing automated workflows and intelligent agents to enhance financial processes.

Operating at the intersection of Finance, Product, Technology, and external vendor partnerships, this role has a direct impact on operational excellence, financial compliance, customer experience, and global scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the definition of the future-state Billing and AR product vision aligned with business and compliance goals.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Process Automation teams to gather, challenge, and prioritize requirements across global stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops with internal teams and external consultants to co-design functional blueprints and process maps.
  • Define the product backlog, write detailed user stories, and prioritize features for implementation readiness.
  • Validate business process designs and ensure traceability from requirements to solution architecture.
  • Coordinate with selected vendors and consultants on technology solutions, ensuring alignment with internal systems (Workday, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of new finance solutions, including automated workflows and intelligent agents.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and iterate on deployed solutions to drive ongoing performance improvements and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for further automation and agentification within Billing and AR processes.
  • Contribute to defining performance metrics, compliance controls, and user experience benchmarks.
  • Align deliverables and timelines across project phases (Design, Pilot, Implementation, Optimization).
  • Report on progress, risks, and dependencies to the Steering Committee.

Requirements

Business expertise

  • In-depth understanding of global Billing and AR operations, ideally in publishing, SaaS, or B2B environments.
  • Knowledge of compliance and audit standards across EU, US, and APAC markets.
  • Familiarity with pricing, discounting, institutional invoicing, and tax implications (VAT, GST, etc.).

Technical skills

  • Experience with ERP and finance systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP).
  • Exposure to CRM integrations (Salesforce preferred).
  • Understanding of API-first architecture and SaaS platforms.
  • Data modelling and dashboard/reporting logic (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with workflow engines and automation platforms.

Additional skills

  • Process design methodologies (e.g., BPMN, SIPOC).
  • Vendor management and RFP lifecycle experience.
  • Functional documentation and blueprinting.

Benefits

  • We prioritise office presence and emphasise in-person collaboration, but also offer appropriate adjustments where needed, in line with company policy
  • Extra wellbeing days on top of your annual leave allowance
  • Up to 3 paid volunteering days each year
  • 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Programme (wellbeing, mental health, legal & financial support)
  • Learning & development support via the Frontiers Learning Hub
  • Competitive local benefits country dependent (e.g. healthcare and pension/retirement provision)
