Caregiver with Dementia Experience Needed chez United Home Care

United Home Care is hiring experienced caregivers who are confident and compassionate in supporting clients with dementia or memory loss. 

If you have patience, understanding, and experience providing hands-on care for clients with cognitive challenges, this role is for you. You will help ensure safety, comfort, and dignity while supporting clients in their own homes. 

Your Role: 

• Provide hands-on care and supervision for clients with dementia 

• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility 

• Offer calm reassurance, companionship, and emotional support 

• Follow structured care plans and routines 

• Monitor behavior changes and report concerns to the care team 

• Maintain a safe and clean home environment 

What We're Looking For:

• Prior dementia caregiving experience 

• Patient, calm, and compassionate personality 

• Reliable, trustworthy, and attentive 

• Strong communication skills 

Requirements

• Negative TB test or chest X-ray (per state regulations) 
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 
• Active California HCA registration or willingness to register 
• Reliable transportation
