As a key player in our tech team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to bring innovative features to life and enhance the user experience. Build, Ship, and Own Products

This isn’t a “stay in your lane” role. You’ll own features end-to-end and see them in the hands of users quickly.

• Design and build backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Ship fast, high-quality web experiences with React and Next.js
• Build mobile functionality with React Native
• Create responsive, accessible UIs using HTML and CSS
• Design pragmatic APIs that scale as the company grows

Work AI-Native from Day One

We use AI as a force multiplier — not a gimmick.

• Use AI tools to move faster across development, debugging, refactoring, and testing
• Build and ship LLM-powered features into real products
• Experiment, iterate, and refine prompts as part of the build process
• Help define what “good” AI integration looks like in a production startup
• Ensure AI features are reliable, measurable, and safe to scale

Move Fast on Backend & Data

You’ll make smart trade-offs between speed and robustness:

• Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas that evolve with the product
• Use Redis for caching, background work, and performance wins
• Keep systems fast, reliable, and ready for growth

Get Code into Production — Quickly

You’ll be close to the metal and close to customers:

• Deploy services on AWS
• Spin up MVPs and experiments rapidly using Render
• Own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Improve deployment workflows as the team and product mature

Set the Engineering Bar

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
• Strong experience with React and Next.js
• Confidence with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• A track record of building full-stack products end-to-end
• Experience integrating LLMs or AI-powered features
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions
• Experience deploying and operating services on AWS
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
• Clear communication and practical documentation habits

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Native
• Built or contributed to MVPs or early-stage products
• Startup or founder-led team experience
• Strong familiarity with VS Code and modern dev tooling
