Lead our logistics and procurement strategy and develop supply chain practices that support our mission and growth. You'll build a resilient, data-driven architecture for rapid product iterations and complex technical requirements. Your key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and vet global suppliers to meet technical specifications, and lead negotiations for high-value contracts, balancing cost-efficiency with reliability.
  • Inventory Management: Implement agile strategies (JIT, VMI) to minimize carrying costs while ensuring 100% availability for production.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work with Engineering and Product teams to manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for new product introductions and find alternatives for long-lead-time components.
  • Contract Execution: Oversee daily execution of contract requirements to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the program life cycle.
  • Stakeholder Interface: Interface with internal teams (Engineering, Quality) and external customers on contract matters.
  • Bid and Proposal Activities: Lead bid and proposal activities, including material estimating and sourcing strategies.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize ERP/MRP systems and data analytics to forecast demand, track KPIs (OTIF, Lead Times, COGS), and identify potential disruptions before they impact the line.
  • Logistics & Compliance: Oversee complex international shipping routes, customs compliance, and last-mile delivery for sensitive technical equipment.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field. APICS/CPIM certification is a significant plus.
  • 5+ years in Supply Chain Management, specifically within a high-tech, photonics, electronics, or fast-scaling manufacturing sector.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and expert-level Excel/Data Visualization skills.
