Role Overview:
AFS is seeking an AWS CCaaS Python Developer to join a collaborative team supporting the NextGen Digital and Customer Care modernization of a legacy enterprise system for a high-profile federal client. This Developer will be responsible for developing and testing IVR contact flows alongside a lead developer. The role requires experience in developing integrations with 3rd party systems, as well as development experience with Python, Java, and GitLab, which will be integrated within Amazon Connect Call Flow Development, and Lex implementations. You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates residing in the DC Metro area.
The Work:
- Develop and test IVR contact flows and modules in Amazon Connect
- Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications
- Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions
Here’s What You Need:
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience with Python development
- Experience with version control tools such as GitLab
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with Amazon Connect or similar CCaaS tool
- Amazon Lex experience
- Experience building, optimizing, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
