Job Description:

The Purpose

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical solutions across multiple departments including Merchandising, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Retail, eCommerce, and Finance to name a few. This role will lead the discovery and documentation of business requirements, assess opportunities for process improvement and automation, and support the development of AI-driven solutions. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, Product Owners, and external development teams to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.

Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitate structured meetings, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders across Merchandising, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Retail, eCommerce, and Finance to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Document detailed business requirements to identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities, ensuring proposed technical solutions align with strategic objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to support the documentation of requirements across the Supply Chain Department, contributing to the development and prioritisation of product backlogs.
  • Analyse business needs and prepare use cases and datasets to support the design and implementation of AI-driven data analysis solutions.
  • Map current ('as-is') and future ('to-be') business processes to evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for automation and optimisation through technology.
  • Partner with external development and testing teams to ensure technical solutions accurately reflect business requirements and deliver measurable value.
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the definition of acceptance criteria, creation of test cases, and engagement of stakeholders for validation and sign-off.
  • Ensure continuous alignment between business objectives and technical execution through clear communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of solution development, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within a supply chain or IT function in a retail environment. Experience in luxury or premium brands is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear documentation and actionable user stories.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and familiarity with CRM and eCommerce platforms is a plus.
  • Skilled in engaging with cross-functional stakeholders, including Merchandising, Logistics, Manufacturing, Retail, and eCommerce, to drive alignment and clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to map and analyse business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements through technology and automation.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments, supporting Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritisation.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Collaborative and inclusive, with the ability to build trust and influence across diverse teams and external partners.
  • Curious, proactive, and adaptable, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • International mindset and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to work effectively across global teams and markets.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
