The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the preventative maintenance program onsite, interfacing with Engineering sub-contractors & ensuring all maintenance records are kept complete & up to date.

 

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and manage the preventative maintenance program
  • Complete maintenance tasks / routines as per the maintenance program
  • Provide engineering competence to plant systems, repairs and upgrades
  • Co-ordinate sub-contractors
  • Operate Engineering Equipment and assist with yard activities where required
  • Report Operational status to Site Manager
  • Manage Spares inventory onsite
  • Provide input Design and procurement of new equipment
  • Ensure all Site documentation and maintenance records are complete and kept up to date
  • Ensure ESHA site rules are always adhered to
  • Manage Site maintenance budgets

 

Requirements

  • Formal education
  • Preferred B1 & B2 Forklift Licence Electrical / mechanical qualification
  • Electrical & Mechanical experience
  • Maintenance Management experience
  • Liaise with shift leaders regarding maintenance schedules planning around production activities
  • Attention to detail
  • Health and safety awareness and understanding
  • Ability to prioritise varied workload
  • Ability to plan/schedule and complete tasks on time
  • Computer literacy and ability to work with Microsoft programs
