UFC Sr. Audio ArtistLocation: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (Hybrid) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Sr. Audio Artist who can make an immediate contribution to the creative and technical design, implementation and optimization of all aspects of audio on the UFC Franchise. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative, problem solving-abilities, and strong communication skills in order to achieve a high quality audio experience. Audio Artists focused on UFC will contribute to building SFX content and runtime systems, and engage in problem-solving throughout all stages of production. Working with the UFC Development team, this individual should possess exemplary skills in designing and implementing high quality SFX content as well as advanced asset management. The candidate should possess exceptional skills in visual programming, with a strong emphasis on direct Frostbite Engine experience. The candidate will communicate effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines while owning the quality of their work. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for game audio design and an aptitude for problem-solving. ResponsibilitiesBuild audio content and runtime systems with visual programming and scripting languagesCreate, extend and manage complex audio assets and data structuresOptimize and debug runtime audio data to work and fit within modern console limitationsCollaborate with other Technical Audio Artists and Workgroups to help drive Cross Team InitiativesDocuments workflows and pipelines, and make sure any relevant information in your day to day role is up to dateBug fixing and JIRA management, with a focus helping to drive the team to finalQualificationsShipped at least 3 titles, with 6+ years experience in gamesFluent with at least one visual programming tool and/or engine (Frostbite, Unreal, Unity, etc)Comfortable debugging workflows, pipelines, and runtime systemsExperience in managing large quantities of content/dataCreative mindset with focus on how to improve product quality and team productivityExperience in text-based scripting/coding languages, with high proficiency in at least one language (ie Python, LUA)Understanding of digital audio, acoustics and/or psychoacoustics fundamentalsExperience in content production pipelines such as audio/visual asset generation for games, movies, voiceover recording and post productionNice to HaveGeneral knowledge of UFC/MMAProgramming experience in C++ or C#Direct experience using Frostbite Engine is a huge asset for this role
