About the Role

The Change Manager is a pivotal role within the Customer Value Stream (CVS), specifically reporting into the Portfolio & Strategy Sub-Stream. The primary focus will be to drive the change management agenda for CVS tools and initiatives, with a direct focus on adoption, and usage to ensure maximum benefit realization.

This is a dynamic role combining both project-based implementation of new solutions and ongoing, continuous change management to drive the sustained adoption of existing tools. Success requires strong collaboration with market teams, D&T regional leads, and CVS Product & Business-as-Usual (BAU) Teams. Services are delivered across all commercial functions and global markets.

·       Investment Oversight: Understand change management investment costs and ensure project change initiatives are adequately budgeted and resourced within the overall program financial guidelines.

·       Benefit Realization: Focus change strategies on measurable outcomes that drive business value and benefit realization, linking adoption rates directly to commercial returns.

·       Global/Multi-Market Reach: Accountable for delivering change services and ensuring adoption across all markets and commercial functions, necessitating cultural awareness and tailored strategies.

·       Stakeholder Alignment: Navigate a complex matrix of stakeholders, including senior Business leaders, regional D&T teams, and local market experts, to secure alignment, buy-in, and co-creation for change initiatives.

·       Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong collaboration is required across multiple functions within and outside of D&T.

The Change Manager is accountable for maximising employee adoption and usage of new and existing tools within the Customer Value Stream, thereby ensuring business value and benefit realization are achieved. This includes ownership over the end-to-end Change Management lifecycle from strategy to embedment.

To create, lead, and deliver a robust and innovative change management strategy that informs, inspires, and involves all affected stakeholders—from senior sponsors to end-users—to successfully enable, embed, and sustain significant organisational change (new ways of working and technology adoption). The ultimate goal is to mobilise stakeholders to embrace the change and drive sustained adoption for commercial success.

·       Define the new business processes, roles, and organizational structures required to successfully operate the implemented solutions.

·       Partner with business leaders to redesign and document job roles and responsibilities impacted by the change.

·       Coach and prepare senior leaders and project sponsors to effectively communicate, advocate for, and reinforce the change within their respective teams.

·       Proactively identify, analyze, and address resistance to change from key stakeholder groups, developing specific intervention tactics to mitigate negative impacts."

·       Establish change governance structures (e.g., adoption steering committees) to monitor post-implementation performance and address barriers to sustainment.

·       Formally transition change materials, ownership, and tracking metrics to the BAU/Product teams to ensure long-term change embedment.

·       Ensure cultural and regional nuances are assessed and incorporated into all communications, training, and readiness plans to maximize localized buy-in and effectiveness.

·       Enabled through the following deliverables

·

o   Change Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance.

o   Conduct Change Impact Analyses and Change Readiness Assessments to identify stakeholder groups and readiness gaps. Develop the holistic Business Readiness Plan.

o   Communication & Engagement: Design and execute comprehensive Communication and Engagement Plans using data and audience insights. Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring the right message is delivered to the right people at the right time through appropriate channels. Build a strong network of business communicators/champions.

o   Training & Capability: Identify training needs and coordinate with D&T/Product teams to develop and deploy Training Programs and Materials (digital and in-person) tailored to different user groups. Plan, manage, and deploy a Performance Support Network (e.g., Super Users/Local Experts) to ensure post-Go-Live capability and knowledge transfer.

o   Measurement & Sustainment: Track progress against Change Management plans using clear performance metrics (especially adoption and usage data). Provide regular Progress Reports & Dashboards on the effectiveness of change initiatives to senior management. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
