About you:

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Officer to support the Technical Airworthiness Compliance Manager (TACM) and play a key role in ensuring the effective operation, integrity and continual improvement of quality systems within an aviation maintenance environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Provide timely information and advice to the chain of command regarding updates or changes to regulatory publications.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and improvement of Standing Instructions Logistics, including managing submissions through the Standing Instructions Improvement Request (SIIR) Register.
  • Perform internal audits within the Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO), ensuring the audit program is aligned with organisational schedules and updated as directed by the TACM.
  • Act as the Quality System Facilitator for maintenance elements under TACM guidance.
  • Ensure Process Audits, Product Sampling Audits, and End State Audits are completed on time, including oversight of follow-up actions through to completion.
  • Maintain accurate and complete Quality System records, including audit reports and action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all periodic tasks in accordance with relevant Orders, Instructions and Publications.
Essential
  • Internal Auditor Course
  • Lead Auditor Course
  • Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) Practitioner Courses (145, M, 66 and SMS)
Desirable
  • Diploma of Quality Auditing
  • CAMM2 Manager qualification
Experience Requirements
  • Extensive exposure to quality systems within an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Computer Aided Maintenance Management Version 2 (CAMM2).
  • Significant aircraft maintenance management experience.
  • Proven experience as both a Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor.
