We are currently recruiting for an Team Lead EUC who will report directly into the Director Technology. The Team Lead EUC will efficiently handle and solve application issues, schedule fixes and enhancements based on impact and complexity, liaise with development teams for timely improvements, support user acceptance testing, and monitor integrated systems to maintain impactful performance levels, ensuring minimal disruption to team members' operations.

 

The role:

  • Lead the team providing initial technology support for personnel, visitors, and contractors, and coordinate team schedules to ensure adequate site support.
  • Oversee the process for diagnosing and resolving application and device issues, minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Prioritize and schedule application fixes and enhancements based on business impact and technical complexity.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely and effective implementation of application improvements and device updates.
  • Ensure smooth operation of printers, scanners, copiers, audio-visual equipment, server rooms, video systems, electronic displays, and meeting room equipment.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing technology issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Oversee and support vendors and contractors to ensure site stability and service delivery

 

About you:

Ideally you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Your understanding of end-user computing technologies and support processes and knowledge of IT infrastructure, including laptops, cellphones, video conference systems, and mobile applications will give you the knowledge you need for this role. Familiarity with IT service management best practices and awareness of preventative maintenance strategies for technology equipment along with knowledge of vendor and contractor management will greatly assist in you being successful in this role. You will also hold experience in budget and logistics planning in technology support.

 

You will also hold:

  • Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and resolving application and device issues.
  • Ability to gather and act on customer feedback to improve support services.
  • Hold strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills for developing team members.
  • Proficiency in tracking, escalating, and communicating technology-related issues.
  • Advanced skills in using MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
