Job description:

 

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of highly skilled Engineers in the area of heavy weldments, Casting, mechanisms and Simulations.
  • Understand and anticipate the requirements from PC teams and ensure a world class R&D support as needed from EITC in a proactive manner.
  • Assigning the work in your team, providing direction, and removing obstacles to get work done.
  • Supporting your team in technical discussions to make the right technical decisions, Drive design reviews with internal and external stake holders.
  • Taking the product ownership mindset for components and systems in your scope and leading the execution of roadmaps.
  • Managing resources, developing competence, and recruiting new talents to meet current and future needs.
  • Ensure timely and effective performance and development talks with the team members.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities (product, process, tools, methods) and fostering innovation.
  • Managing interfaces towards other functions to support project deliveries and make daily operation more efficient.
  • Delivering project activities on time and according to budget.
  • Create awareness and share important technological developments both within and outside the Construction and Mining industry for concerned technology areas in your team.
  • Actively support management team and contributing to overall team development
  • Reporting to Manager in a timely and efficient manner
  • Complying to company policies and follow company values and business code of practice.

 

Experience Requirements:

 

Minimum 12-year experience from product development and People management

 

Educational requirements:

 

 

BE / BTech / MS / MTech in Mechanical or Automobile

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Knowledge:

 

  • Excellent networking & communication skills
  • Leadership experience of leading engineering teams
  • Awareness on Pneumatic basic system and application
  • Good knowledge on structures design and Engineering materials.
  • Knowledge of design standards
  • Project management knowledge.

 

 

Personality requirements:

 

  • Enthusiastic, positive minded and able to work well in an international client environment.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Self-starter and goal oriented
  • Attention to details and strong sense of responsibility.
