POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Director of Sales & Operations, the Sales Operations Specialist will partner with and support the Sales team by analyzing, managing and organizing company and customer sales data. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams on various sales and customer-related projects and will use their strong communication skills to analyze data and offer insight into future and forecasted sales decisions. The ideal candidate will have a continuous improvement mind-set, strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and optimize company-wide sales data through cleansing, architecture and CRM management
- Lead projects within the commercial organization, including implementing new sales processes, programs, software and integrations
- Perform advanced Excel tasks (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation)
- Generate and analyze data and reports to track sales metrics and provide insights within all sales platforms
- Facilitate training for the sales platforms, such as: Epicor/P21 (ERP), Spiro (CRM), Power BI, etc
- Acts as the PowerBI subject matter expert for the sales team by creating reports and providing sales data
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree
- 2+ Years of data management experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in ERP operating systems (ideally P21/Epicor)
- Experience facilitating training
