SALARY: $80,000 – $90,000

SHIFTS: 8:00am-4:00pm, Flexible schedule needed as site requires

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead six person Brewing Team, including planning of department activities to meet the site schedule while optimizing production efficiency and maintaining team engagement
  • Manage team member relationships and development through one-to-one meetings, focusing on continuous Learning & Development
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to operators while helping prioritize daily tasks and training
  • Develop and monitor production plans alongside planning and procurement teams
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality and Packaging teams to achieve site dream
  • Own implementation of management tools (VPO) and team Skills Acquisition, including department SOPs, reaction plans etc.
  • Schedule team member shift patterns, managing workload and team hour
  • Execution of health and safety programs and enforcing of critical aspects of safety and quality involved in brewing operations
  • Coordinate with Brewery Admin on department resources and track production jobs and inventory via SAP
  • Ownership of department KPIs including targets for volume, quality and team member safety
  • Leadership of Brewing Autonomous Team and ATO projects

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary qualification in Engineering, Science or Brewing or 3+ years professional brewing experience
  • Willingness to work irregular hours as required
  • 1- 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Must have basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of brewing equipment and process
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel
  • SAP or equivalent ERP experience is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
