Job Description:We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Assistant Accountant Intern to join our Finance team in our Kings Park branch. This role is ideal for someone currently studying accounting, finance or a related discipline, eager to gain real-world experience while building a long-term career with Bosch Rexroth.
As an Assistant Accountant Intern, you’ll support the Senior Financial Accountant ANZ across reporting, budgeting, reconciliation and compliance activities. You’ll gain exposure to global systems, financial processes and a collaborative team environment that supports your professional development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting month-end financial reporting activities across ANZ.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for designated accounts.
- Assisting with CAPEX planning, budgeting, forecasting and controlling.
- Supporting inventory costing, analysis and controlling.
- Assisting with accounts receivable analysis, forecasting and planning.
- Completing Monitoring Procedures as the designated preparer.
- Collaborating closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
- Supporting process improvements, workflow efficiencies and systems enhancement initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
- Current student in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, TM1 or Business Warehouse, preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of accounting principles such as accruals, reconciliation and forecasting.
- High level of integrity, reliability and commitment to producing high standard work.
