- Equipment Repair:Diagnose, repair, and maintain various golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
- Preventative Maintenance:Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, greasing, air filter replacement, and blade sharpening to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in equipment.
- Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Parts Management:Assist with ordering and managing replacement parts and supplies for equipment.
- Safety and Operations:Follow safety protocols, maintain a safe work environment, and operate all equipment safely and proficiently.
- Collaboration:Work closely with the Head Mechanic and other team members to prioritize tasks and ensure equipment is ready for daily use.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use common mechanical tools.
- Knowledge of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment.
- Experience in small engine repair, automotive, or turf equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, sometimes up to 50-100 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and have finger dexterity for operating tools and equipment.
