Position Title: Federal Work Study Employment Opportunities – Various Titles
Classification: Student Employment
Status (exempt or non-exempt): non-exempt
Rate of Pay: $16.55 per hour
Hours per week: up to 20 hours
Term: Winter/Spring 2025-26
MUST BE AN OCCC STUDENT – FEDERAL WORK STUDY ELIGBLE
This position will remain open until filled, with review upon receipt.
OPENINGS:
Nursing and Allied Health Lab Assistant
Assist Nursing & Allied Health Lab faculty with set up, ongoing maintenance and take down of skill lab
related activities, simulation, and supplies. Location will include the Newport and Lincoln City campuses.
Student is responsible for their transportation to and from the location.
Provide assistance to YCS staff with customer service, food ordering and preparation, cleaning and stocking.
QUALIFICATIONS (non-specific)***:
- Federal Work Study Eligible
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude
- Successful Criminal Background check
- Second Language is helpful (Spanish) but is not required
