Summary
Under general direction, performs basic and advanced computer related duties such as analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves technical operational problems, installs, and maintains hardware, peripheral equipment and software; assists in the review and/or preparation of user's procedures and documentation; provides informal and formal training to users on system implementation and operations; performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop Azure Synapse Environment
- Develop enterprise data warehouse
- Localize Core Data Sources to End Users
- Automate data queries
- Monitor cyber security threats to ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- End-user support (including)
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Experience / Education

- Pass pre-employment screening (e.g. drug test, background check)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize work in a high-pressure environment

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2 to 4 year work experience in related field required
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Previous high-volume manufacturing / automotive experience preferred
