Skills & Competencies
- Proven track record of 10+ years in B2B sales or relationship management, preferably in software, data/analytics, technology, or professional services.
- 5+ years of experience leading high-performing sales teams, consistently achieving or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
- Expertise in managing complex sales cycles, including new business development, executive-level engagements, and strategic negotiations.
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and nurture executive-level client relationships.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and mentor diverse teams.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a collaborative approach to cross-functional partnerships.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Identify growth opportunities across existing and new clients.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline; ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and commercial operations to support go-to-market execution.
Client Relationship Leadership
- Strengthen senior-level client relationships and position the company as a trusted partner.
- Oversee key account planning, pursuit activities, and renewal strategies.
- Support sales teams in executive-level engagements, negotiations, and closing strategic opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Relationship Managers / Sales Executives.
- Set performance expectations and ensure accountability to targets and KPIs.
- Recruit and develop diverse talent, fostering a high-performance culture centered around ownership and collaboration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Product, Strategy, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure alignment on priorities and client delivery.
- Provide client and market feedback to inform product enhancements and commercial planning.
