About the Program - WEX Gen - Brazil Tech Internship Program
WEX is launching its first-ever Software Engineer internship program in Brazil! We are looking for bright, motivated students who are eager to learn and contribute to real-world projects. Program Main Areas:
Our program will feature multiple opportunities across different Technology areas within the company, including Data & AI Engineering, Corporate Payments, Enterprise Applications Engineering, Corporate Technology, Health & Benefits, and Mobility Engineering.
What You Will Do
Collaborate: Work closely with a team of experienced software engineers, product managers, and designers to develop and maintain software applications.
Contribute: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages like [List relevant languages, e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#].
Learn: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and deployment.
Problem-Solve: Help troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing solutions.
Innovate: Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions about new features, improvements, and technical challenges.
What We Are Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Availability to work 6 hours per day
Candidates should be based in São Paulo (SP)
A solid understanding of core computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++]).
Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile).
A passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Advanced English communication skills
