About Us
Sigma Healthcare is a powerhouse in Australian pharmacy wholesale and distribution! We pride ourselves on attracting talented, passionate people who live our values: delighting customers, acting with integrity, staying resilient, and delivering results. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where precision, accuracy, and problem-solving drive operational success, this could be the role for you.
As a Multi-Skilled Store Person, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Sigma Healthcare’s warehouse systems and documentation.
While you’ll maintain an understanding of warehouse operations, your primary focus will be on the administrative and systems side of the supply chain — managing data accuracy, coordinating documentation, reconciling stock movements, and supporting smooth workflow across multiple departments.
You’ll be the link between warehouse floor activities and system processes, ensuring that everything recorded in our systems reflects what’s happening in real time.
What You’ll Do
Inventory Administration:
Maintain accurate and timely system updates for all stock movements — including receipts, put-aways, adjustments, returns, and dispatches — ensuring data integrity across warehouse systems.
Order Management:
Monitor and reconcile customer and supplier orders to ensure quantity, quality, and documentation accuracy. Manage system discrepancies and support resolution of order or inventory variances.
Returns & Quality Control:
Process customer returns and supplier discrepancies through designated QA systems, ensuring un-saleable, damaged, or recalled products are quarantined and documented correctly.
Systems & Reporting:
Utilise warehouse management technology (RF scanning, voice systems, automation platforms) to generate reports, maintain workflow visibility, and assist Team Managers with performance data and compliance documentation.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure all warehouse activities align with Sigma’s Codes of Good Wholesaling, relevant Acts, and regulatory obligations. Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance checks.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with Team Managers, warehouse operators, and logistics coordinators to ensure seamless communication between physical operations and system processes. Provide administrative and analytical support to improve workflow accuracy and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in warehouse administration, inventory control, or logistics coordination
Strong systems and computer literacy (experience with WMS, SAP, or similar platforms highly regarded)
High attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping discipline
Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
Understanding of warehouse operations and materials handling processes (LF/LO licence advantageous but not essential)
