Location: Open to remote or hybrid | Full Time | Supervises a team
Litehouse Foods is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our accounts payable function and ensure the accurate, timely processing of vendor payments. In this leadership role, you'll guide a team dedicated to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance processes, controls, and overall financial performance.
What You Will Do
Supervise and coordinate daily accounts payable activities to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment runs in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Monitor vendor accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Train, develop, and coach accounts payable team members to drive accuracy, accountability, and performance.
Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to streamline AP processes and improve system efficiencies.
Prepare and analyze reconciliations, reports, and key performance metrics to support management decision-making.
What You'll Bring
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR a combination of education, training and experience may be substituted.
5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting operations, preferably in manufacturing or consumer-packaged goods.
2+ years of supervisory or lead experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and invoice-to-pay processes.
Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or NetSuite).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
