Maintenance Mechanic – Salt Lake City, UT
Location: 2473 W. 2950 N., Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 40+ hours per week (flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays)

We’re hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. This role is key to reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting continuous operations in a high-performance, food manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to restore uptime
Operate heavy machinery safely and perform welding, confined-space work, and equipment installations
Collaborate with production and quality teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
Maintain accurate records in CMMS and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement
Follow all GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
2+ years of maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing settings; food industry experience a plus
Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Experience with CMMS, predictive and preventive maintenance, and heavy machinery
Arc welding experience and ability to work safely in confined spaces
Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Skills
Apply predictive and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures
Operate heavy equipment and perform welding or fabrication when needed
Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Work efficiently in confined spaces and fast-paced production environments
Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs to maintain production flow
