Position: Electro Mechanic
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift; 8, 10, or 12-hour days; weekdays or weekends; 40+ hours per week

We’re looking for a skilled Electro Mechanic to play a key role in launching and maintaining our state-of-the-art production lines. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge equipment, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, and contribute to the success of a modern, high-performance facility. Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, diagnose problems, and make necessary repairs
Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and document work in detail
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Fabricate parts, structures, and equipment as needed using shop tools
Install and connect new production equipment to ensure proper functioning
Assist in developing computerized preventive maintenance programs
Follow GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and all safety and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with QA, production, and maintenance teams to maintain high operational standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Electro Mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing setting; 1 year in the food industry preferred
Strong troubleshooting, electrical, and mechanical skills
Licensed electrician preferred
Experience with fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and computerized maintenance systems
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
Apply preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
Operate and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Perform fabrication, welding, and confined-space maintenance as needed
Collaborate effectively with production and maintenance teams
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs to keep production running efficiently
