IPS - IRP MED is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate, efficient movement of materials that support production and customer demand. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, managing workflows, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations. The Supervisor will drive operational excellence across storage, inventory, equipment, and material handling processes.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages the daily operation of the organization’s warehouses, including processing, packaging, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and materials.
- Supervises, trains, and develops warehouse personnel; assigns work, monitors performance, and provides coaching and feedback.
- Leads all aspects of shipping and receiving operations; ensures accuracy of inbound/outbound shipments, documentation, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates with carriers, freight companies, and internal departments to schedule pickups, deliveries, and resolve transportation or logistics issues.
- Plans and maintains shipping/receiving schedules to optimize workflow, warehouse space, and on-time delivery performance.
- Ensures timely and accurate ERP reporting of inventory and material movement, including weights, dimensions, quantities, and other data.
- Conducts routine audits of materials and inventory; drives corrective actions for discrepancies or quality concerns.
- Leads and participates in continuous improvement and lean initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service levels.
- Maintains and enhances warehouse operating procedures, material flow, and layout for optimal safety and productivity.
- Ensures packaging standards meet customer, quality, and transportation requirements to prevent damage.
- Maintains a strong safety culture by enforcing all safety policies, conducting safety checks, and ensuring team compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required; may be required to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours as needed.
Job Specifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
Years Experience: Five (5+) years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role required; demonstrated experience managing a team in a warehouse environment strongly preferred.
- Forklift operation experience required; forklift certification preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems; Epicor preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
