Overview:

Summary Statement:

 

The Wholesale Representative acts as a liaison between Leisure Sales, ensuring efficient communication with the third party. This role involves managing extranet, and third-party reservations, including booking platforms like Expedia and Booking.com. The Wholesale Representative processes requests, answers inquiries, and coordinates with relevant departments to accommodate business needs. The Wholesale Representative supports the AR Groups & Wholesale Manager. The ideal candidate creates a work environment that supports our core values and promotes integrity, teamwork, performance, recognition and mutual respect. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies, practices, and procedures.

Job Duties:

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Oversees guest resolutions to ensure all matters are completed in a timely manner by coordinating with outside departments.
  • Oversee and process wholesale, extranet, and third-party reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Manage relationships with wholesale clients, maintaining strong communication and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for wholesale operations.
  • Address and correct any discrepancies in accounts.
  • Monitor, document, and notify upper management of any problems that may impact the success or achievement of departmental objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale, extranet, and third-party partners, addressing questions and ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Help rectify any billing disputes between internal departments and guests.
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:  

  • Proven experience in wholesale or a similar role, preferably in hospitality or travel.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in reservation and inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for market analysis and data interpretation.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to successfully mentor and lead a team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working with Forbes and/or AAA service standards.
  • Working knowledge of Opera Cloud and third-party extranets.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:    

  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
