Job Description
You will be the Production Operations Manager for the Precision Fires programs. Our team is responsible for delivering precision‑fire capabilities across the Tactical Missiles Line of Business.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end production operations, driving cost and schedule excellence, and ensuring scalable performance for multiple manufacturing sites and external partners.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the Line‑of‑Balance and Cost Account Management processes to meet customer cost and schedule targets.
- Coordinate schedule performance across domestic and international manufacturing facilities, engineer labs, and IRAD efforts.
- Develop and implement scalable production strategies that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Partner with external suppliers to align delivery schedules and maintain quality standards.
- Provide clear reporting and risk mitigation to senior leadership for all Precision Fires programs.

Basic Qualifications
* A broad base of knowledge regarding complex manufacturing related to schedules, Cost Account Management, Line of Balance, Efficiency & Successfully communicating the above thru objective data
* A broad base of knowledge of setting up new production line / facility
* Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including to non-technical personnel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence
Desired skills
* Industrial Engineering and/or Planning experience on a development and/or startup program.
* Production Operations leadership experience.
* Experience in program execution with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership.
* Experience in capacity & capital planning.
* First Unit Flow planning & execution
* Proposal development experience
* CAM Certification or cost analysis experience
* Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
