- Start Date: ASAP
- Length of Position: Through the school year (June 2026); part-time until end of December, with possible backup care through June 2026
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Rate: $25–$30 per hour
- 2 Children: Ages 10 and 9
Responsibilities
- Pick up the two younger children from school (approx. 10–15 minutes away from home)
- Supervise children after school until the oldest arrives home from school
- Provide light supervision and engagement, children are very independent
- Ensure children arrive home safely and remain safe and engaged until 5 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with school-aged children
- CPR certification or willing to become certified
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance
- Ability to pass background, social media, and reference checks
- Reliable transportation for school pickups
- Experience supporting children with ADHD is a plus (youngest understands and is open about his energy and knows how to help himself)
- Comfortable with pets (family has two birds and a lizard—no pet care required)
Compensation
This position pays $25–$30 per hour, approximately 12.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 2.5 hours per day). Clients may request occasional backup care, as needed, through the end of the school year.
