- Serve as a subject matter expert in the use of RiskSpan’s SaaS Platform
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Executives to understand prospect/client requirements and craft tailored product demonstrations.
- Deliver proof-of-concepts (POCs) showcasing the Platform’s capabilities for data and analytics on sample prospect portfolios.
- Conduct discovery calls to assess data architecture, data management and integration needs, and regulatory or risk priorities.
- Document client requirements and the agreed upon scope and solution design in support of deal proposals and contracts
- Technical Solution Design
- Coordinate between Sales, Client Support, and our product team in the translation of business challenges into scalable technical solutions using our SaaS platform.
- Advise clients on data mapping and ingestion, model deployment, and analytics workflows.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to shape prospects- and client-specific use cases and influence roadmap decisions.
- Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with prospect stakeholders—CIOs, Risk Officers, Portfolio Managers, and Data Scientists.
- Present complex concepts around data analytics, analytics APIs, and risk frameworks in clear, business-oriented terms.
- Support RFP responses with detailed technical and functional input.
- Post-Sales Handoff
- Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation teams, documenting data management and analytics scope and integration plans.
- Provide early-stage technical guidance and training during onboarding.
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or similar technical pre-sales roles.
- Strong understanding of:
- Data platforms – Snowflake (preferred), Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP
- APIs, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration
- Risk analytics, prepayment/credit models, or capital markets
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- High level of initiative and able to work independently and hold oneself accountable for results
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn details of our products and troubleshoot/resolve prospect/client questions or issues
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented and creative problem solver
- Background in SaaS, data analytics, or risk management solutions.
- Experience with machine learning or AI-driven analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with financial services, insurance, or regulatory risk domains.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
