Givens Aldersgate is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of all procurement activities, from vendor management and inventory control to cost analysis and the operation of mail and print services.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives, optimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Cultivate and manage key vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, evaluate supplier performance, and resolve any disputes.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
- Analyze purchasing data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost reduction measures.
- Oversee mail and print services operations, ensuring efficient processing, compliance and cost effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and implement best practices.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the procurement and mail services team.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 5+ Years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement or related field
- 3+ Years of experience in a leadership role.
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, CPM) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Understanding of purchasing Inventory management principles.
Compensation: $85,000
