New Installations, Modernizations & Existing Installations Methods & Process Manager

 

Your main responsibilities

 

The New Installations (NI), Modernizations (MOD) & Existing Installations (EI) Methods & Process Manager analyzes, adapts, deploys, and monitors the use of the Schindler Group and Local consolidated methods and processes to grant top quality and cost-effective installation and maintenance. 

 

Existing Installation - Maintenance

  • Act as technical competence center for Existing Installation / Maintenance as the KG Key-User (KU) for all processes and applications
  • Support branches to achieve efficiency targets through implementation of consolidated service tools and processes
  • Test and adapt new group processes to local requirements
  • Evaluate standard hours and ensure workforce acceptance
  • Launch and implement new / adapted methods and products
  • Document maintenance methods and repair kits
  • Assist branches with tools, installation, and troubleshooting
  • Conduct maintenance efficiency gap analysis and action plans
  • Develop technical solutions for non-Schindler equipment
  • Support technical aspects of launching new services / products

 

New Installation & Modernization

  • Act as technical competence center for NI & MOD as the KG Key-User (KU) for all processes and applications
  • Support branches to achieve efficiency targets through implementation of consolidated New Installation and Modernization tools and processes
  • Evaluate standard hours and ensure acceptance
  • Launch / implement new or adapted methods
  • Introduce / implement performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with group standards
  • Analyze operational results and deviations
  • Establish actions to close variances
  • Conduct pre/post gap analysis and corrective actions
  • Evaluate and implement provided processes and tools
  • Document all developments in NI installation methods 

 

Field Information

  • Collaborate with Documentation & Field Information department to document all developments
  • Assist with configuration, use, and reporting of maintenance tools
  • Be key user of the Field Management Tool (IPT) and facilitate training, as needed 

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and deploy internal Best Demonstrated Practices (BDPs)
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for all operational areas 

 

Training & Mentorship

  • Ability to roll-out and conduct training for new users or updates to existing users
 

What you bring

  • BS/AS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or Finance with prior project management experience
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in either the elevator industry or in a related building systems industry
  • Full understanding and proven adherence to FF+
  • Strong experience in the use of SPN and other Schindler NI/MOD management tools
  • Experience in an operational role (Service Leader, Project Manager)
  • Ability to use analytical tools, such as Excel
  • Working across multiple departments and teams
  • Track record of continuous improvements and developing new processes to improve business issues
  • Full understanding and practical implementation / auditing of all Schindler (and industry) safety policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of installation methods & processes and general site working practices
  • Experience in training and coaching others in an engaging and efficient manner
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization: Possess excellent organization skills with the ability to balance high volume of activities and changing priorities
  • Problem Solving: Information seeking and achievement orientation, ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively  
  • Teamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and foster a teamwork relationship
