We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-savvy Business Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will turn data into insights that support key decision-making across departments. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and provide analysis that drives performance, strategy, and efficiency.
Minimum requirements:
- Experience of operational analysis, commercial analysis or similar.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualisation (e.g., Looker Studio) and interactive dashboard creation.
- Strong SQL skills;
Here's the other key skills and experience we're looking for you to bring:
- Demonstrable experience of identifying and developing insights, that have led to gains in operational efficiency, improved productivity and/or reduction in costs.
- Proven track record as a Business Data Analyst or in a similar analytical, data-driven role.
- Strong ability to proactively identify operational bottlenecks, uncover insights, and translate them into tangible business improvements.
- Python for analytics is a plus.
- Deep understanding of relational databases, data structures, and data modelling concepts.
- Skilled in Google Workspace, Excel, and complementary data analysis tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Adept at simplifying complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills.

- Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, translating business challenges into data-driven opportunities.
- Proactively analyse operational performance to pinpoint areas within Operations that need improvement, uncover root causes, and recommend impactful, measurable solutions.
- Transform large, complex datasets into clear insights that influence decision-making and drive business growth.
- Design, build, and maintain compelling dashboards and reports (e.g., Looker Studio) that provide real-time visibility into key metrics and trends.
- Work cross-functionally with BI Analysts, Data Engineers, and other teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability.
- Present findings in a clear, compelling manner to audiences at all levels, from technical teams to senior leadership.
- Lead the development and adoption of data governance best practices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in reporting.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate processes, enhance reporting efficiency, and innovate in analytics delivery.
