Role Purpose

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance team at Premier Foods on a 4 month Fixed Term Contract. You’ll be responsible for managing supplier queries, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, and maintaining high standards of service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role is key to ensuring our suppliers are paid on time and that our accounts payable processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

• Resolve supplier queries and manage transactional activity.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls.
• Support invoice processing to prevent overdue payments.
• Share knowledge of P2P invoicing processes across the team.
• Act as an escalation point for stakeholders.
• Reconcile supplier payments and manage post distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement in Accounts Payable processes.

What we need from you

Essential:

• Experience with direct and indirect suppliers.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills.
• SAP Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Desirable:

• SAP MM and FI module knowledge.
• Familiarity with Process Director.
