Purpose of Position
Serve the Center of Expertise as a Specialist for key supply chain systems, such as the Spend Cube and Supply Chain Business Warehouse, within the International Chemicals Supply Chain. Lead the continuous development and maintenance of these systems, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and drive continuous improvement. Optimize processes, systems, and analytics, applying best practices, fostering cross-team collaboration, and leveraging technology to achieve excellence. Ensure timely delivery of MBR KPI and Supply Chain Flash Reports, conduct demand-driven analysis, and track savings initiatives. Support the development and implementation of the technology roadmap for the Supply Chain, driving process optimization and the implementation of digital tools in collaboration with the Digital Team. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Digital Team, and IM teams for successful project execution. Lead continuous improvement initiatives through gap analysis, redesign, and implementation, supporting change management activities.
Key Accountabilities
Serve the Center of Expertise for Key Systems:
- Act as the Product Owner and as the primary global advisor for critical supply chain systems, such as the Spend Cube and Supply Chain Business Warehouse.
- Lead the continuous development and maintenance of these systems, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
Identify and Lead Optimization of Supply Chain Processes, Systems, and Analytics:
- Take full ownership of initiatives to continuously optimize of processes and systems within the International Chemicals Supply Chain.
- Lead the development of concepts and focus on identifying best practices, fostering collaboration, and leveraging technology to enhance overall performance and achieve operational excellence, including systems such as the Spend Cube, Supply Chain Business Warehouse.
- Lead efforts to optimize supply chain processes, ensuring operational efficiency and increased performance for systems like Coupa, S/4HANA, or other systems in the area of Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash.
- Develop digital tools together with the Digital Team. Lead implementation of 3rd party tools.
Deliver MBR KPI and Supply Chain Flash Report:
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of the MBR KPI and Supply Chain Flash Report, working with input owners to ensure accurate and insightful reporting on supply chain performance.
- Provide demand-driven analysis and track savings initiatives.
Support Technology Roadmap for Supply Chain:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a strategic technology roadmap for the Supply Chain, focusing on enhancing systems and driving process optimization.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital tools, both in-house and third-party, in alignment with business goals and in collaboration with the Digital Team.
Liaison with IM and Digital-Team for SC Projects:
- Participate in alignment meetings between Supply Chain, Digital Team and Information Management (IM) teams, ensuring alignment on digital projects, technology solutions, and project execution.
- Participate and manage successful project delivery through effective project management, communication and collaboration.
Develop and Maintain PowerBI Dashboards:
- Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards for the Supply Chain, ensuring effective data visualization and decision-making.
Track Savings and Efficiency Gains:
- Track and report on savings initiatives (e.g., ARC) within the supply chain.
- Provide analysis on demand and work with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and tracking of savings-related goals.
Support MBR KPIs and Tools Development:
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of tools supporting the MBR KPIs and SC Flash Report, ensuring they provide relevant, timely, and actionable insights for supply chain performance management.
Provide SC Analysis on Demand:
- Conduct in-depth analysis on an ad hoc basis to support leadership decision-making and performance tracking within the Supply Chain.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements, optimization opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
Formal Education
- Professional master or bachelor degree in domains of Business, Economics, or Chemistry/Engineering
Working Experience
- 3-5 years relevant working experience
Required Personal and Professional Skills
- Relevant professional business experience within areas like Procure-to-Pay (Procurement), Order-to-Cash (Logistics), Project Management, Financial/Controlling, or Information Management (IM). Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with systems like Coupa, S/4HANA, SAP BW
- Proficiency in developing reports and defining and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Structured way of working with good organization, planning, and time management skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with very good communication skills.
