Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a Licensed Certified Social Worker, the Social Worker I is responsible for assessing client needs, providing counseling, and referring clients to appropriate community services. The position may involve clinical supervision of social work students and contributions to the development of new social work services and improvements in health care delivery.
Position Requirements:
- Must possess an LMSW or LGPC in Maryland.
- Experience with children, adolescents, and transitional age youth in clinical or educational settings is required.
- Preferred knowledge of CBT and DBT skills obtained through internships or employment.
- Must utilize evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and IPT-A, and integrate Feedback Informed Treatment into regular practice.
- Caseload primarily consists of adolescents and young adults with significant mental health diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, OCD, and bipolar disorder.
Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
