Loan Officer 25-052 chez Cobalt Credit Union

Our Consumer Loan Officer works with members virtually and over the phone to take consumer loan applications. This is a sales role, and this individual is responsible for providing superior member service through the loan application process.

 Education and/or Experience Requirements:

**Bilingual skills preferred**

• High school graduate / GED required.
• 2 years of experience in a financial institution required.
• 2 years of sales experience required.
• 2 years of customer or member experience required.
• 1 year of experience working with loans required.
• Interviewing techniques are needed along with familiarity of credit union products and services.
• Thorough knowledge of loan underwriting standards and guidelines are needed.  
• Oral and written communication skills.
• General PC skills.
• Must be able to complete all required paperwork as needed.
• Sound judgment skills required.
• Ability to organize workflow and meet deadlines.
• Keeping abreast of current guidelines is a necessity.
