Claims Fraud Coordinator: As a Claims Fraud Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Ageas Claims Counter-Fraud Strategy, assisting the Counter Fraud Centre of Excellence and the Operational Claims teams in the deployment of our strategy. Ensuring we maintain effective systems, processes and controls to minimise our exposure from suspected fraudulent activity.

Main Responsibilities as Claims Fraud Coordinator:

  • Support the External Fraud Centre of Excellence with creating a strong culture of fraud awareness and capability across the Claims Function.
  • To ensure claims counter-fraud processes and systems are fit for purpose; making appropriate suggestions and recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
  • Foster the adoption of Counter Fraud strategies across Operational Claims teams; providing support where required, ensuring that their knowledge and skills are at an appropriate level to effectively deliver the strategy.  
  • Report and monitor fraud performance, using the data to pro-actively seek out focus areas for improvements in capability, strategy and performance. 

Skills and experience you need as Claims Fraud Coordinator:

  • General insurance experience in a Claims function is preferred.
  • Experience of Home claims, processes, policies and procedures
  • A background of strong fraud awareness and capability
  • An effective influencer who uses a range of techniques to win support, gain co-operation and overcome objections.
  • Must be able to understand, evaluate and interpret financial data; ability to use data to support decision making is vital
  • High level of written communication skills and a strong verbal communicator.
