We are seeking an Inventory Planning Specialist for our First Quality Home Care Products , LLC facility located in Salt Lake City, UT.  The Inventory Planning Specialist is responsible for receiving, cycle counting, and managing all storage and movement of semi-finished goods and labels.

  

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Review production schedules, create and close transfer orders, and escalate material issues within 24–72 hours as needed.

  • Use SAP to verify bill of materials, place warehouse orders, receive materials, and complete cycle counts.

  • Physically verify inventory, unload trailers, perform blind counts, and stage pallets.

  • Lead batch board meetings, track inbound/outbound shipments, and update SharePoint communications.

  • Maintain 5S standards and operate PIT equipment.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required - will be required to complete internal Forklift certification.

  • Must have basic-level to intermediate-level computer (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook) and math skills.

  • Must be able work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, and equipment.

  • Experience with SAP is a plus.

  • Must be able to pivot and adapt to changing priorities in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

  • Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences, including activities for active listening, clear presentation skills, and the capacity to provide and receive feedback at all levels of the organization.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (100 lbs with help), push/pull up to 600 lbs with equipment, use hand tools with dexterity, and have adequate vision (with corrective lenses) including close, distance, and color perception.

  • Must be able to work 12 hours shifts - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & alternating Wednesdays, 6:45am - 7pm
