Position Summary/Purpose:

The Marketing Student Worker supports the Department of Spiritual Life by helping share the story of what God is doing on campus. This role plays a key part in communicating upcoming events, highlighting student life, and creatively expressing the heart and mission of Spiritual Life through digital media, and campus engagement.
 

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

• Create content (photos, videos, reels)

• Manage the Spiritual Life Instagram account

• Communicate with department teams for marketing purposes

• Repost and share relevant content

• Respond to direct messages
   

Equipment:

• Mobile phone

• Laptop
   

Qualifications:

• Experience in social media management

• Strong time management skills

• Self-starter with initiative

• Creative and inspired approach to content creation
   

Experience/Education:

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment: • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student. • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University. You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
 

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
