Job Description:

The Commercial Valuation Services Manager is responsible for managing third-party relationships, overseeing technology platforms, and ensuring compliance with model risk management policies. This role supports operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic vendor and technology alignment across the commercial valuation space. Keeps current on related bank and regulatory policy requirements. Works with a high level of autonomy and decisions have a high impact on operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage third-party relationships following Global Third-Party Program (GTPP) requirements.

  • Serve as Third-party Engagement Manager (TPEM) overseeing third-party performance and risk.

  • Act as Process Owner for Commercial Valuation Services third-party relationships.

  • Fulfill Category/Subcategory Owner responsibilities for specialized subcategory SOPs.

  • Lead contract management activities including inventory refresh and records control.

  • Ensure compliance with economic sanctions scanning and facilitate bi-annual reviews.

  • Represent CVS technology platforms (VSIMS, Rockport, Argus) within ECGBR to drive adoption.

  • Champion OpEx solutions across CVS technology programs.

  • Support SPI owners in technology, vendor, and model usage across commercial space.

  • Drive sound technology budgeting aligned with department needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services industry

  • 5+ years business controls, risk management or related experience

  • Critical thinker with the ability to influence senior leaders across ECGBR and partners to challenge the status quo, implement transformative changes and drive outcomes

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; focus on attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong horizontal leadership skills across peers; an individual who can indirectly and inspire a strong sense of camaraderie, accountability and motivate continuous improvements to performance

  • Must have an Operational Excellence mindset -will often be asked to solve complex Risk issues but solve them in a way that doesn’t create complex processes

  • Effectively packages and communicates complex content and information for management and senior leaders

  • Proven leadership experience driving transformative change with strong track record of successful results

  • Strong analytical skills, with an investigative mindset and ability to use data to enhance efficiency and develop reporting to drive business insights

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services industry or experience in a related field

  • Previous experience driving business processes tied to regulatory requirements and ongoing obligations

  • Experience / knowledge of Third Party Programs, Contracts and Technology a plus

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$135,000.00 - $170,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
