Global Operations (GO) is responsible for delivering integrated operations solutions for all lines of business, staff support areas and the broader enterprise, including operations teams in our global regions. This role will be member of the Horizontal Global Operations Issues Management Team and will be accountable for the oversight and execution of activities in support of Global Operations’ adherence to the Issue Management Standard. The Sr Business Control Specialist is responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within Global Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as trusted advisors across GO for control-related challenges: foster debate/discussion, share best practices, and identify enhancement opportunities,

  • Provide Issue Management oversight and support to one or more FLUs within GO

  • Leads routine meetings with Business Partners to proactively identify, escalate, and debate risk as well as support risk governance routines.

  • Quality review and input of issues into the system of record

  • Ensures timely delivery of key milestones/action plans and on-time closure of issues

  • Proactively identifies and escalates ‘at risk’ processes, remediation gaps and roadblocks; ensures leadership visibility to at risk action plans

  • Ensures adherence to the Issue Management standards
