MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure timely and accurate coding and processing of invoices for payment.
 - Produce weekly check runs to include supporting documentation
 - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and vendor communications.
 - Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
 - Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable and accrued expenses.
 - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
 - Maintain A/P Filing on site.
 - Reconcile monthly company credit cards and related receipts.
 - Reconcile GL accounts and petty cash accounts.
 - Assist with month-end close process.
 - Prepare annual 1099 forms.
 - Other duties as needed by CFO.
 
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills.
 - Must be able to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.
 - Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals.
 - Strong organizational skills
 - Strong data entry and 10-Key skills
 - Excellent computer skills; MUST be strong in Microsoft Excel & Word
 - Solid understanding of accounting principles
 - Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software preferred
 
Education:
- Two-year college degree required in accounting or business program preferred
 
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years working in Accounts Payable (required)
 - Minimum of five (5) years working in Accounts Payable experience (preferred)
