Description

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure timely and accurate coding and processing of invoices for payment.
  • Produce weekly check runs to include supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and vendor communications.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable and accrued expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain A/P Filing on site.
  • Reconcile monthly company credit cards and related receipts.
  • Reconcile GL accounts and petty cash accounts.
  • Assist with month-end close process.
  • Prepare annual 1099 forms.
  • Other duties as needed by CFO.

Qualifications


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong data entry and 10-Key skills
  • Excellent computer skills; MUST be strong in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software preferred

Education:

  • Two-year college degree required in accounting or business program preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years working in Accounts Payable (required)
  • Minimum of five (5) years working in Accounts Payable experience (preferred)

    • Accommodation - adjustment of the lens of the eye to bring an object into sharp focus. This item is especially important when doing nearpoint work at varying distances from the eye.
