The Opportunity
Solar Turbines is looking for a Senior Manager, Total Rewards in San Diego, CA. As part of the HR Leadership team, reporting to the Vice President of HR for Solar Turbines, this role leads the Total Rewards strategy for a global organization of approximately 10,000 employees in roles from sales to marketing to operations. We’re looking for a strong leader who can partner with senior business and HR leaders to drive our business strategy and enhance our culture and employee experience.
This role provides leadership to a team of professionals to develop and execute benefit and total health & wellbeing programs, compensation management, time off and leave policies, retirement programs, HR technology deployment and administration, as well as HR compliance. The position partners closely with the Caterpillar enterprise Total Rewards team to execute on enterprise managed benefits. The role manages and leads projects and solves complex Total Reward challenges.
What You Will Do
• Ensure the Total Rewards programs enhance our ability to recruit and retain employees.
• Review existing programs, propose modification to existing programs or design of new programs to ensure the achievement of a competitive market position aligned with our business and talent objectives
• Lead the design and implementation of Total Rewards programs including project management, communication, change management and vendor management
• Lead internal team(s) to ensure delivery of Total Rewards programs, processes, and services, we ensures compliance with company or legal requirements and securely manages employee data in line with company policies
• Manages external vendors, ensuring delivery of service and operational metrics

Summary Pay Range:
$155,986.00 - $233,980.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
