This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Structural Engineering/Fracture Critical team on the Sentinel Program.
What You'll Get to Do:
This qualified candidate will be a versatile team player who will support the Structural Engineering/Fracture Critical team on managing their requirements and change management. In this role the qualified candidate will work on problem solving and project scope (systems engineering) issues related to requirements as well as coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure that the technical elements of the the project are met (requirements). Additional responsibilities include:
Provide project engineering level support on program change requests, tracking structural (fracture) requirements and engaging with the review boards to effect changes
Coordinate meetings, updates, and documentation efforts to ensure alignment across project teams
Participate in technical reviews of structural (fracture) requirements and procedures in support of effective technical execution
Serve as the liaison between structural (fracture) engineering team, change management, and other key stakeholders
Compile, prepare, and maintain detailed records of project decisions, modifications, and progress

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of relevant experience, or a Masters’ Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with architectural studies, technical baseline definition, requirements, & change management
Familiarity with Systems Engineering fundamentals, principles, and processes (writing requirements, defining interfaces, performing verification activities)
Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong technical briefing skills
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) as a condition of continued employment.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work self-sufficiently
Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Ability to work closely with multiple functional organizations
Experience with Siemens NX and CPLM
Experience with MBSE and Requirements management tools, such as Cameo and DOORS
Familiarity with Project & Task Management tools: Jira or Confluence
Experience in creating classical structural and finite element analysis models, or developing FEMs at detail and assembly levels
Experience with NX.CAE (SimCenter 3D) / NX.Nastran, Ansys Mechanical, or MSC Patran
ICBM Experience
Familiarity with data visualization tools: Tableau
