Job Title: Mountain Front of House Supervisor

Job Overview:
The Mountain Front of House Supervisor at Solitude is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the mountain lodge and restaurant, ensuring a seamless guest experience in a high-paced, casual dining environment. The role focuses on maintaining efficient service during peak hours, ensuring quality food and beverage offerings, and leading a front-of-house team. The supervisor will ensure that all guests, whether grabbing a quick bite between runs or enjoying après-ski drinks, receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff including cashiers, servers, bartenders, and hosts.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily goals, specials, and any service updates.
- Manage staff schedules using Workday, ensuring optimal coverage during peak times.
- Track employee attendance, time-off requests and shift swaps in Workday, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and in compliance with HR policies and timelines.
- Mentor staff on delivering efficient, friendly service, and handling large crowds while maintaining high standards.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure smooth and speedy service, particularly during peak times.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the seating process to ensure tables are turned quickly and guests are served in a timely manner.
